Monte Cristo Hydro Power Pvt Ltd’s Brahal 4.8MW is planned to be executed on a tributary of the River Beas. 

Located near Shahpur, Kangra District, Himachal Pradesh Gross head of the plant is 350 meters Project involves excavating a 1.5 km, 1.3 meter diameter tunnel, and directing water through a 1km penstock Overground Power house and transmission line will be built that will supply power in the Himachal Pradesh grid through the Khauli Substation. 

Project is in development stage with applications for Forest Clearance and other statutory obligations being processed.
