CSR
CSR activities are our ethical responsibility. Being a responsible power producer in the Himalayas, we foster discipline to give back to the communities we work in. We actively engage in community development and engagement through financial and active support.
Powering Villages
We believe that the nation’s growth should begin at the grassroots level. Adhering to that belief, we pay 1.5% of the project’s cost to the Deputy Commissioner’s office as Local Area Development Fund.
Along with creating employment opportunities for local youth, we sponsor annual local fairs of the local villages we work in as well as support local causes and institutions with grants as well our team’s time.

For A Brighter Future
The future of our nation lies in the hands of our youth. We ensure that our activities highly focus on students and their education. Our grants are dedicated to scholarships for students from the local villages pursuing diploma/vocational courses in urban centres such as Dalhousie and Chandigarh. As an extension of this mission, we are sponsoring a nursery school in Chanju Panchayat of Himachal Pradesh. The current strength of the institution is 20 children between the ages of 3 and 5 years with 2 teachers, and nannies to take care of them. Apart from this nursery school, we’ve also taken on the sponsorship of 3 senior teachers to be engaged in another private secondary school in the same village.
Respecting Sacred Spaces
For over a decade, Bhavani Power has remained committed to the preservation and enhancement of Lakshmi Narayan Mandir Majhewli. Our enduring association, established in 2008, has been instrumental in fostering the temple’s development through continuous support and collaborative efforts. Over the years, our contributions have been pivotal in the maintenance of the temple walls, ensuring its structural integrity, and attending to day-to-day requirements, thereby upholding the sanctity and functionality of this sacred site.
